Last year, my wife and I wanted to create an app for our son. He was just starting to learn his shapes and colors at the time and we thought an app to help him with this would fit the bill quite nicely. I created a rough, working prototype and was surprised by how thoroughly engaged Adam and his friend Eli were with this app. They both picked up the names of shapes they had previously struggled with in no time at all.
Needless to say, my wife and I were pretty excited about our new app, but Home Inventory is our bread and butter, so we had to put it aside to work on Home Inventory updates, the unreleased iPhone version of Home Inventory, and the Home Inventory Photo Remote companion app. In between all of this, we were able to do a little bit of work on it here and there and recently put the finishing touches on it.
Adam Learns Shapes and Colors is a simple app, but it’s quite effective. If you have a child who is working on learning their shapes and colors or know someone who does, check it out: http://binaryformations.com/adamlearns/index.html
