Photo Remote v1.3: New Item Screen
Version 1.3 of the Home Inventory Photo Remote is now available in the App Store. This updates satisfies two of the biggest feature requests we’ve had from users: the ability to add photos at the same time as you add an item using the Photo Remote and support for more fields when creating a new item. There is also an option to manually enter barcode numbers and you can add photos from the album on iPod Touches and iPads without a camera.
Due to popular demand, we lifted the restriction on barcode scanning with the iPod Touch. In honesty, the camera on that thing is pretty horrendous and it can be very difficult to get an image clear enough for the barcode interpretation algorithm to decode the barcode. If you have an iPod Touch with a camera, give it a shot and let us know how it works for you.
